Escalla (Formerly Premier IT) has worked in conjunction with the London Programme for IT (LPfIT) and National Programme for IT (NPfIT), to offer health systems services to Trusts in London and the UK. Our services include:
Our services will help you to align, plan and implement a successful health system deployment, with ongoing support following ‘Go-live’
CRS Systems consultancy
Programme & project management
Our programme and project managers are all MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) and PRINCE2 qualified respectively.
We help ensure that new processes and methods are adhered to, and the expected benefits are realised.
We believe projects should follow a structured and controlled approach to ensure they are managed efficiently and delivered on time.
Change management & trust readiness
We can help to produce a clear communications strategy incorporating all of the above, to ensure a smooth transition to a new state of “business as usual”.
- Stakeholders – Need to understand the reasons for change and how it will work, to maintain their interest
- Trust staff and patients – Need to be ready to embrace new systems and processes
- Local health community – You will need support from your local health community
Our experts can help your Trust to establish ownership of benefits, allowing them to be easily identified and successfully realised.
This in turn can help to ensure a good return on investment (ROI).
Our additional experience with IT Networking and Security allows us to understand your technical environment, enabling us to plan accordingly and manage your deployment successfully.
We can manage your technical work stream effectively to ensure all projects are designed and delivered within realistic timeframes.
We understand the extreme importance of safeguarding patient and personal information within any healthcare organisation, and how this confidentiality must be adhered to throughout periods of transformation and transition.
Our professionalism – and the professionalism of our data migration and technical specialists – will provide you with the peace of mind knowing that sensitive information is handled with the utmost care and confidence.
CRS systems staffing
We can provide strategic placement staff as part of CRS implementation projects and programmes. We can assist with your Trust’s workforce planning by providing both management and support staff on a short term, interim or permanent basis.
- Business transformation consultants
- Programme managers
- Change managers and change analysts
- Training project leads
- Cerner and RiO specialist trainers
- Cerner and RiO specialist floor-walking staff
- Accredited floor-walking managers
- Data entry and migration specialists
We work with numerous Trusts in London and the UK to provide high quality, specialist CRS systems training for Cerner, RiO and Choose and Book CRS systems.
With Cerner Millennium or RiO deployed across your Trust, it is essential that staff are fully conversant with the software that they will be using on a daily basis.
We provide NHS accredited trainers who can be contracted on either a long term basis, to supplement your in-house team, or as interim cover for sickness and holidays.
Trainers have specific knowledge to assist in areas such as Outpatients, Inpatients, A&E, Maternity and Theatres.
They are based at your premises so they can fully immerse themselves in your culture, understand your Trust training policies and procedures and to ensure that they provide a quality training service that best suits your needs.
Our trainers join the team in advance of the Cerner Millennium training roll-out to ensure that:
- Newly designed processes are incorporated into training materials
- All training materials are customised to reflect up to date Trust processes and procedures
- The training environment is populated with relevant data to ensure that “real world” scenarios make learning meaningful and relevant
- End user training is delivered in a series of classroom-based scenarios within a pre-defined schedule
We regularly provide floor-walking – or individual desk-side support services – for NHS Trusts that are in the process of rolling out Cerner, RiO, eSAP and other CRS applications.
Our floor-walkers provide a highly skilled level of support to CRS implementations. They can ensure a smooth transition from one system to another, providing a link between the end users and the project team.
The floor-walkers’ experience and knowledge of the Trust’s local processes provide a consistent communications strategy during the roll-out period, which in turn assists in the adoption of new business processes.
Floor walking services
Our floor walking services are typically delivered in two ways:
Reactive – Our team of experts provide roaming, ad-hoc assistance within a department
Proactive – Delegates complete a ‘Delegate Action Form’ that captures specific topics requiring more attention. Our experts then contact the delegates to arrange a fixed appointment for these topics to be covered and explained in more detail.
Floor walking training
We also run application specific floor walking training courses, to help your Trust independently manage deployment of new CRS applications.
These floor walking courses can provide all the knowledge and skills you need to be able to conduct a full floor walking service across your Trust, for a variety of CRS applications.
