Coaching and Mentoring Skills for Leaders Overview
Our business skills courses are available for organisations to book for their teams. Learning is delivered live online by a qualified instructor in small groups of no more than 12 delegates per course.
Coaching sits at one end of the leadership spectrum and is a way to empower people, unlock their potential and to help them to help themselves achieve their goals, and develop their skills and improve overall performance.
The leader or coach gains additional tools and models to enable individuals to grow and develop towards their goals.
Coaching empowers individuals to take responsibility, solve problems and achieve outcomes through their own endeavour, in a supported rather than coercive way.
Coached individuals become more self-reliant, confident and gain greater job satisfaction, leading to greater contribution to the team and organisation’s success.

Pre-Requisites
This course is suitable for leaders, managers and individuals who have a role to play in developing and improving people and performance within an organisation and who wish to learn more about coaching and the skills and methods involved.
Topics
The course covers coaching models, concepts and will take delegates on a journey through the coaching process.
