About this seminar:

Do you use or plan to use Microsoft Teams for Education?

Covid-19 has forced many schools to review their digital education platforms and roll out new technologies such as Microsoft Teams, at breakneck speed – to support remote education.

If you’re planning to roll out or expand Microsoft Teams in your school then don’t miss our virtual seminar, where we’ll show you how Teams can become your school’s digital hub, bringing pupils and teachers together safely, and aiding effective collaboration, engagement and remote education.

In summary, we'll show you how to get the most from the powerful features of Microsoft Teams.

About Microsoft Teams for Education:

Microsoft Teams for Education is free for schools, pupils, and governors. The technology integrates perfectly with familiar Microsoft applications and technology, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Microsoft Teams is the key technology for remote education, enabling safe and effective collaboration and engagement.

About the Speaker:

Dan Woloszczuk is escalla's Microsoft certified trainer. He has a wealth of Microsoft training experience and has helped many organisations and schools to roll out and get the most from Office 365 and Microsoft applications.

Agenda:

By the end of the virtual seminar you’ll learn how to:

  • Access and navigate Microsoft Teams.
  • Create Teams, channels and add and edit members.
  • Start a conversation in a channel, how to reply to a conversation and how to use @mention.
  • Like posts, bookmark them and edit and delete conversations you added.
  • Utilise the class notebook by adding and creating content, using it to explore and provide feedback on student’s work and to share information with the classroom.
  • Create and set assignments, assign a marking criterion, and mark student work.
  • Schedule a meeting in Teams, join meetings, invite others to meetings, and share files in meetings
  • Record and upload a PowerPoint presentation as well as create and distribute quizzes and questionnaires

Pricing:

The first sessions on 7 July are free. Subsequent sessions will be priced at £50 per person, plus VAT.

“I would strongly recommend using Escalla. Since their training our pupil engagement rates have improved dramatically largely based on the improvements we have made to the content we are providing and the feedback we are now able to deliver through Microsoft Teams”
