About The UK Sepsis Trust
The UK Sepsis Trust aims to end preventable deaths and improve outcomes for sepsis survivors, strives to raise public awareness, and works to support anyone affected by this devastating condition.
They do this through educating healthcare professionals; raising public awareness levels, and lobbying for political change. Their team of trained Support Nurses help people through sepsis recovery and bereavement.
They aim to protect people by enabling the prevention of severe infection and the treatment of sepsis, whilst also helping to ensure antibiotics are used responsibly.
Our work with The UK Sepsis Trust
In 2018, our e-Learning team worked with The UK Sepsis Trust to develop a new suite of e-Learning materials using existing content from the charity and work that escalla had completed on sepsis with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Over the years, our dedicated staff have supported the UKST education efforts through continuous updates and redesigns of the e-Learning modules, development of new modules, and management of relationships with a growing number of public and private organisations wanting to host the modules on their own LMS platform. We now help the charity reach over 70,000 learners a year and this number is growing all the time.
Our fundraising activities
escalla is actively involved in many Sepsis Awareness month activities this September. As well as sharing vital sepsis information across our social media channels, many of our team are taking part in the Step Up To Sepsis initiative to help fundraise for the charity.
