- Differentiate between priority and non-priority debts and understand their implications.
- Assess various options available for managing debt, including the Debt Respite Scheme and Breathing Space.
- Identify signs that someone is struggling financially.
- Ascertain the extent and nature of a person's debt problem through effective questioning.
- Conduct healthy and supportive conversations around financial difficulties using communication tools such as Making Every Contact Count (MECC) and the TEXAS Protocol.
