Taking Control of MS OneNote Course Overview

Designed to function like an electronic version of a paper notebook, OneNote is a personal information management application for collecting, organising and sharing information digitally. During our Live Instructor Led course you will learn how to use OneNote to create and collate all your notes, ideas and to do lists in to one place, how to organise your notes by subject or project and how to share notes with other people.

If you want to organise your next back packing trip or new lockdown business or if you’re a teacher who needs to monitor students assignments, store grades and save lesson information, then this is the course for you.

  • Learn how to create a Notebook, adding sections and pages, how to add simple text, format notes and move them around on a page
  • Learn how to add tables, bulleted and numbered lists and To Do lists, and how to use tagging to make information stand out. Discover how to record audio notes to convert into text
  • Discover how to add pictures and images to your notes, and how to insert hyperlinks to a webpage. Find out how to insert a link to a file or a pdf printout for handouts and confirmation emails

This course assumes some knowledge of Office 365 and how to use applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. No existing knowledge of OneNote is required
