This is a great opportunity for someone who has some technical IT knowledge along with great customer service skills and is passionate about starting a career in technical IT.
Duties will include:
- Handling support calls and support tickets in an efficient and confident manner, being thoughtful of the issues and always having the client as their top priority
- Management and configuration of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Dropbox, NAS, Windows Servers
- Performing troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc)
- Setting up devices with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc)
- Networking knowledge, firewalls, routers, patch panels, switches, network cabling
- Providing orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Organising and scheduling upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Performing troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc)
- Identifying computer or network equipment shortages and reporting back to the CEO
Training will be provided.

Things to consider
Out of hours work and occasional weekend work is part of the role.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
